An idea that originated with the Chief Louie Paddle Company, which is owned and operated by the Cheslatta Carrier Nation has blossomed.
The Chief Louie Paddle Company were researching methods and mediums to market their products and distribute them more efficiently.
In addition they wanted access to export markets, such as Germany or Japan.
After discussions with individual artists and cooperative groups, it was determined that many local artisans in Northern B.C.
