April 12, 1926
Bob was born in Vancouver, B.C. where he spent his childhood. After graduating from UBC with a Bachelor of Commerce he entered the insurance field. For many years he worked in Victoria for Brower and Company before transferring as a claims adjuster to ICBC. Bob enjoyed the outdoors. Early years were spent hunting and fishing on southern Vancouver Island. In later years his focus changed to sailing and power boating. He enjoyed the ocean for many years into his retirement.
Bob will be sadly missed by sons Gary (Wanda), Craig (Candice), sister June Scott (Jim), grandchildren Scott, Steven, Matthew, David, and Brian, as well as many friends and acquaintances.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Island Gospel Fellowship.
