Record number of Burns Lake hockey players chosen for the B.C. Cup

For the first time in Burns Lake Minor Hockey history six players were chosen to play in the male under 16 B.C. Cup Tournament in the one year.

For the first time in Burns Lake Minor Hockey history six players were chosen to play in the male under 16 B.C. Cup Tournament in the one year.

The tournament was held from April 27 to May 1 in Kamloops.

The six; Tyler Havens (goalie), Ryan Wilson (official), Logan Gray (defense man), Josh Janzen (forward), Matthew Skinner (defense man) and Cody Bardarson (forward) all attend Lakes District Secondary School and were chosen to represent the Northwest zone at the tournament during tryouts in Smithers recently.
