Original McDonald’s Canada location offering $0.67 hamburgers

The Richmond location was first opened in 1967 and is celebrating 50 years.

Did you know McDonald’s opened its first-ever Canadian franchise 50 years ago? If not, then you might be even more surprised to learn the company’s first location was in Richmond, B.C.

To commemorate that historic event, the world’s most popular restaurant chain will be re-opening the doors on Friday, June 23 for some throwback specials.

They’ll be celebrating nostalgia with original uniforms, vintage cars, classic images and even 67 cent hamburgers! Ronald McDonald will also make an appearance to help give away a variety of prizes
