No ice for Burns Lake community

On. Dec. 14, the Village of Burns Lake updated Burns Lake residents on the Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena’s chiller.

The production of the new chiller unit has been delayed, and the ice will be ready for public use in February 2024.

Sheryl Worthing, the Village of Burns Lake’s chief administrative officer, said, “The manufacturer informed us that production has been delayed at their facility due to a change in their systems earlier this fall.
