Born July 20th, 1950 in Hamburg German. Passed away suddenly February 24th, 2003.
Lutz immigrated with his mother and father to Canada in January 1954 and moved to Telkwa B.C. After living for one year at Ootsa Lake in 1960, the family moved to Burns Lake in 1961, when Ferdies Building Supplies was opened. Lutz graduated from LDSS in 1968, managed Ferdies until 1986, was employed at Nordic Ford until 1995, and later involved in various business ventures in Kelowna, Chile, South America and Burns Lake. He also wrote a political column for the Lakes District News.
Lutz Sr. and Junior are survived by Pia Fernanda, Lutz Jr.’s 7 month old beautiful daughter, Janneke (mother), Chris (brother), Ly Faber (Grandfather), Anje Faber, and Ursula (grandmothers), Arnold Faber and Vero (uncles), Toos Faber and Brenda (aunties), Ly, Lennie and Trace Faber (cousins).
Lutz and Lutzie will be fondly remembered by their families and friends.
