In loving memory ~
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, Jeanne Matilda Olson, in the early hours of Monday, May 29th, 2023. Mom is survived by her children Mel Switzer, Sandra (Rob), Kenny (Lianne) Olson and Steve (Dana) Olson. Her grandchildren Jesse, Brian, Shawn (Rachelle), Michael, Brandon (Heather), and Tiffeny (Mike). Great-grandchildren Grayson, Wyser, Ayla, Avery & Arthur. Mom was pre-deceased by husband Dave Olson, sons Jim Switzer and John Switzer and 1st husband Orville Switzer.
Jeanne lived a full life in Burns Lake for many years, following her years in Prince Rupert as a teenager and young adult. In 2013, Mom moved to Prince George, where she welcomed Rob's family into her life. Mom volunteered for many organizations and events throughout her life in Burns Lake.
She enjoyed cards, games and visiting friends and relatives. Her warm smile and tight hugs will be missed by those who received them. We would like to thank the staff at Jubilee Lodge for their kind and compassionate care of Mom. Celebration of life will be on Friday, June 16 2023 at 2 pm, Assman Funeral Chapel 1908 Queensway, Prince George. In lieu of flowers please donate to BC Children's Hospital. Mom, we will always love you.
