Grant funds enhance Buns Lake Play School

The Lakes District child care society, on behalf of the Burns Lake Play School were the recent beneficiaries of $6,300 in provincial government community gaming grants.

The Lakes District child care society, on behalf of the Burns Lake Play School were the recent beneficiaries of $6,300 in provincial government community gaming grants.

The Burns Lake group was one of more than 1,700 groups receiving more than $32 million in community gaming grants.

According to Cathy Moffat, Burns Lake Play School supervisor and teacher, the grant funding will help the play school to purchase new equipment and help to fund operational costs.
