Gertrude Lois Miller (nee Brandner) passed away peacefully on March 3, 2003 in Kamloops, B.C.
Born March 15, 1923 in Nateby, Alberta, she spent most of her youth around McBride, B.C. Gert and Ed married June 1944, working in Snowshoe and Chilliwack then finally moving to Burns Lake, B.C. in 1945. In 1953 the family moved onto a farm in Salmon Arm. They later moved to Turtle Valley, Chase, Pritchard and back to Chase in 1988.
Gert was very generous with all her family and friends, always there to help in any way she could. She will be missed.
Gert was predeceased by son Donald. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Ed, daughter Fay (Robert) Reading, son Robert (Tammy) Miller, daughter-in-law Sandra Miller; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services were held in the lower level of the Chase Legion on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. A reception followed.
