It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ethel May Eveneshen on May 24, 2023, in Salmon Arm at the age of 86 years. Ethel was born Ethel May Ellis on April 23, 1937, in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. She was the second youngest of seven girls.

She completed high school in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan where she met her soul mate, George Eveneshen, to whom she was married for 67 years.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Douglas George and Grant RV, and their families. She leaves behind five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First United Church Hall at 450 Okanagan Avenue E, Salmon Arm, B.C. from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shushwap Hospital Foundation. We wish to thank everyone for your prayers and kind words of support.
