Edward and Nadine are survived by Skyler Samuel Michael, (Ed’s stepson that he was raising as one of his own), and Joshua Douglas, who turned two on Jan. 15, 2005.
Edward Douglas Waters was born on October 27, 1976 in Yellowknife, North West Territories. Eddie, eldest son of Doug and Kathy Waters, has four younger brothers and sisters: Shirley, Ronald, Jenny and Paul. He spent the first four years of his life in various towns throughout the North West Territories before settling in Burns Lake, British Columbia. Eddie’s lifelong dream was to find a woman to love and raise a family with. Nadine stole his heart and together they realized that dream.
Nadine Florence (Price) Waters was born on July 22, 1975 in Peterborough, Ontario. She moved to Prince George when she was two. Nadine, daughter of Vidia, and Samuel Arthur Price (predeceased), step-daughter of Dan Wicks, two sisters, Lillian and Bambi, one stepsister Tanya, one brother Delbert, one step-brother Brian and an extended foster family, mother, Darby Balcaen and daughters Kim and Melanie.
We are thankful, in the Wisdom of God that he decided to take them home together. They truly would not have wanted to survive without each other. We are blessed to have their children remain with us. We believe that this is a temporary dwelling place and eternity is truly our home.
