Mmm…wine! We’ve missed this festival that past few years, so we can’t vouch for it personally; however, it looks promising, and we’re hoping it lives up to the hype.

The Washington D.C. International Wine & Food Festival has fast become one of the region’s “must attend” events, as well as one of the larger wine shows in the country. And it’s no wonder why - there are over 280 domestic and international wineries on hand to pour their finest vintages, the nation’s top chefs cooking right in front of you, Guided Tastings for all levels of wine lover, and a great selection of wine and food accompaniments.

Scheduled to appear, one of our favorite wine authors, Mark Oldman, author of Oldman’s Guide to Outsmarting Wine : 108 Ingenious Shortcuts to Navigate the World of Wine with Confidence and Style.
