Current events in the Middle East remind me of psalm 83, “Come, let us cut off Israel from being a nation; that the name of Israel be no more in remembrance.”
Yet God made an eternal decree, “If you can break my covenant of the day and my covenant of the night, that there should not be day and night in their season, then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne,” Jeremiah 33:20, 21.
