Crews battle fire south of Houston

Firefighters have been battling a wildfire approximately 40 km south of Houston since Friday June 23.

According to B.C. Wildfire Service, the fire is on the south side of the Nadina River and has burnt approximately 58 hectares.

As of Monday June 26, the status of the fire was “under control”, indicating that the fire had received sufficient suppression action to ensure no further spread.
