Burns Lake Snowmobile Club plans to host its 2024 Cold Smoke Drags on Feb. 10.
Due to the dry winter and lack of snow, there are concerns about the annual event occurring on time.
Dennis Firomski, Burns Lake Snowmobile Club’s president, said it’s a tough call on how much snow is required for racing.
“We need a good packed base and then some fresh on top of that to protect it.
