A fundraising effort by the Burns Lake Rotary Club is selling calendars every year. People who have purchased a calendar have a chance to win a $100 and the a one time winner has a chance to win $1000 as the grand prize. Sara King was the lucky recipient for the grand prize of $1000. Other $100 winners are as follows: Cliff Giesbrecht, Betty Belado, Morgan Paulson, Devon Pete, Juan Duron Zuloaga, Mona Payne, Lee Havens, Liz Abbey, Darlene Havens, BLNDC and Trevor Lindaas.
