Bernard was born in Burns Lake and attended school there. He worked for BC/CN Rail majority of his life and enjoyed traveling.
In 1988 he flew to Holland for a family reunion with his Dad and 2 siblings, also touring briefly to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
Bernard remained single. He was known for his wry humor and will be missed by family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents George and Edna (Maerz).
Survived by siblings George, Helen (Ross), Brenda, Katherine, Bernadette(Wayne) and John. Also numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and relatives.
Passed away peacefully at home in Burns Lake from heart failure.
